Q:What type of vacuum source does the archXpress require?
A:The system was designed to easily integrate with your existing vacuum source, and almost any type of pump will work. If you do not have a vacuum source and would like information regarding pumps to fit your specific needs please call us at 1-888-300-7349. We will be glad to either develop a turnkey system to fit your needs or assist you in sourcing an appropriate system.

Q:How do we get additional bladders?
A:Additional bladders are available for $35.00. Fortunately, the bladders are very tough and do not require frequent changes. The natural gum rubber is very elastic and it is not very notch sensitive, so if you do get a small hole in the bladder it won’t often tear. In fact you can usually patch them with pressure sensitive tape until a replacement arrives.

Q:Who makes the archXpress?
A:The archXpress was created by Tony Wickman, CTPO, and handmade by Freedom Fabrication, a leader in orthotic central fabrication for the past 18 years. Tony has been an orthotic technician for over 25 years, and has been a member of the Technician Registration (now Certification) Exam Committee and the Continuing Education Committee for The American Board for Certification in Orthoses, Prosthetics and Pedorthics (ABC), a founding member and vice-chair of the Fabrication Sciences Society and has been on the Educational Development Committee for the American Academy of Orthotists & Prosthetists.
